The Worst

I've been through a lot of math courses & have seen lots of solution manuals. This one however takes the cake. Its simply the worst. Not only are the solutions sparse, but the numbering is often incorrect. There are many cases when it'll say here's the solution for #5, then actually be the solution for #6. There is even one point where about half a chapter simply doesn't have the corresponding solutions to questions in the book... probably solutions from previous editions. Overall, I wouldn't waste your money here, or on the textbook that accompanies the guide.

Not really a solutions manual that often

Compared to any other solutions manual I've seen out there this is extremely sparse. There are very few solutions - significantly less than the "odds" as is common. In fact, even for those problems which have solutions in the manual, if the question is one with, say parts a,b,c,d,e, and f... this solutions manual may only give solutions for say "a" and "c".
Like I noted in my other review of Anton's textbook - if you can choose a different course with a different text, do so.

Good as a small hint from time to time

The explanations for the problems are a bit terse, if you don't already generally know what you are doing you wouldn't be able to understand how to get the answer. If you are really in a bind this book won't necessarily bail you out.
